ANNUAL TOWN MEETING

The Annual Town Meeting will be held this Saturday, August 1st, beginning at 9:00 a.m. The meeting will be held outside under a tent at the 18 Jacobs Road property. Please arrive early as check-in time will be longer than usual.
All attendees are required to wear a facial covering. Anyone who is unable to wear a facial covering due to a health condition will be seated in a separate area outside the tent. Chairs will be placed six feet apart for physical distancing and other safety measures will be taken.
There will be three microphones for participant use; one will be designated for individuals who need to remove their facial coverings before speaking. All microphones will be disinfected after every use.
Unlike other years, there will be no food or beverages served at the meeting although folks are welcome to bring items for personal consumption. Also, there will be no childcare provided.

If you are feeling sick or exhibiting symptoms such as a fever, cough, shortness of breath, chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell, or any other COVID-related symptoms, do not try to attend. Likewise, if you have had potential prolonged exposure to an individual with confirmed or suspected COVID-19, or have recently returned from another state and are self-quarantining, you should not attend the meeting.
The town meeting will be held even if it is raining. Only if there are legitimate safety issues is the Moderator allowed to recess and continue a meeting. If that occurs, public notices will be issued.
