Board of Health Meeting: Public Hearing on Private Well Regulations

A meeting of the Board of Health Notice of Public Hearing, Heath Board of Health, Wednesday, April 24th, 4PM, Heath Town Hall, 1 East Main Street, The Heath Board of Health will conduct a Public Hearing on Wednesday, April 24th, 2019 at 4:00 pm at the Heath Town Hall, 1 East Main Street. The purpose of the Hearing is to solicit public comment on proposed revisions to the Heath Board of Health Regulations for Private Wells. Revisions include: additional definitions concerning Long and Short Term Rentals, clarifying language pertaining to inter-regulation references and rental types, the addition of an Appendix detailing required and recommended tests, and the removal of water testing requirements at the time of transfer. Copies of the draft regulations may be obtained at Town Hall during regular business hours, or by email.
