Due to limited office hours, the BOH recommends communicating with us via email, whenever possible.

BOH MEETINGS

Regular meetings for the Board of Health are held on the second Wednesday of each month at 9:00.

ABOUT THE BOH

Local boards of health in Massachusetts are required by state statutes and regulations to perform many important and crucial duties relative to the protection of public health, the control of disease, the promotion of sanitary living conditions, and the protection of the environment from damage and pollution.

Heath’s BOH works closely with the Cooperative Public Health Service, a program of the Franklin Regional Council of Governments, a regional health department providing environmental health inspections, communicable disease investigation and prevention, code enforcement, education, wellness, and special programs.
