Transfer Station Attendant
The Town of Heath seeks a part-time Transfer Station Attendant. Attendant is responsible for the Town of Heath’s Transfer Station – maintains site, supervises and assists residents in the disposal of refuse materials, assures that users have valid permits, monitors incoming loads for unacceptable materials, operates compactor, keeps work area clean and safe, provides snow and ice removal as necessary on walkways, stairs and platforms.
Hours require week-ends and some holidays (change seasonally): Wednesdays 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Saturdays 8 a.m.- 4 p.m. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Applications available at Jacobs Road Municipal Center, Select Board Office, 18 Jacobs Road. Submit applications to the Select Board, P.O. Box 35, One East Main St., Heath, MA 01346. Applications will be accepted until June 5th, 5:00 p.m.
