Hazardous Waste Day

On Saturday, September 20 residents can bring hazardous waste to two locations.

The annual Franklin County Hazardous Waste Day will be held on Saturday, Sept. 20 at Greenfield Community College and Orange Transfer Station.The collection is free for Heath residents. Participating residents and businesses are required to register between August 13 and Sept. 10. After the registration is processed, participants will be assigned an appointment time and instructions provided by mail.

See the Hazardous Waste Day Flyer for more detail on what you can bring. Mail-in registration forms will be available in mid-August at town transfer stations and town offices. You can also use the registration form in the flyer to register or use the Online Hazardous Waste Registration Form.
