Public Comment for Mosquito Control Spraying
Forum to voice thoughts & concerns on mosquito control May 25th, 6:05 p.m.
Following a joint meeting of the Select Board and the Board of Health on May 18th, the Heath Select Board will hold a public comment time during which residents and property owners may voice concerns and opinions regarding methods of mosquito control should the need arise. This forum will be held on Tuesday, May 25th, at the beginning of the Select Board meeting. Comments may be made between 6:05 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. This will be a virtual meeting only.

Before joining the meeting it is recommended that the attached letter issued by the Board of Health (BoH) be read in its entirety so that their position on the various methods of mosquito control and their recommendation to the Select Board be understood prior to joining the comment time. Following the time of public comment, the Select Board will be making a final decision as to whether or not Heath would agree to aerial spraying and/or ground spraying for mosquito control, should the need arise.
