Employment Opportunity – Highway Mechanic/Operator
The Town of Heath seeks a full-time, skilled operator/mechanic for Highway Dept., effective Aug. 1.
Monday through Friday, 7am-3:30pm (40 hours per week). High school education or equivalent experience in related field.
Duties include but not limited to: Operation of trucks/heavy equipment, manual roadwork, snow/ice removal, equipment maintenance, etc.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Possession of valid driver's license.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Experience operating equipment.
- Ability to perform skilled & semi-skilled maintenance work.
- Valid MA CDL Class “B” driver’s and hoisting licenses.
- Ability to be ‘on call’ for emergencies 24 hours per day.
