Badminton Area at Jacobs Road

Parks and Rec obtained pernission from the Select Board at the December 16, 2025 meeting to create a badmintion area in front of the preschool and firemens room at Jacobs Road. Permission includes the removal of the deteriorating preschool fence and the remnants of the sandbox. The net can be moved aside as needed. The plan is to have the net and equipment available in the spring of 2026 once mud time is over.

Parks & Rec hopes to purchase a new sandbox in the future to be located in the playground area.
