Emergency Notification System
CodeRED Reverse 911
Heath uses an emergency notification system (CodeRED) to alert residents of a current or upcoming emergency using REVERSE 911 calls. If you are not enrolled in the Heath emergency notification system, or wish to make updates, please click on the CodeRED button above. This will direct you to a page that allows residents and businesses to either (1) enroll or (2) to update contact information to include unlisted numbers, mobile numbers, and TDD/TTY devices (requirements can all be entered). You can also contact CODERED/ONSOLVE Client Support at 866-939-0911 to OPT-IN, make updates, OPT-OUT, or ask questions.
Contact the Town Coordinator at 413-337-4934, ext. 000 if you have further questions.
Emergency Operations Center
The Emergency Operations Center (EOC) or Command Center is a place where emergency managers and responders meet in order to direct the response to the immediate incident. Access is limited only to those people who are directly involved and authorized. Make sure your emergency contact list includes the number for the Heath Emergency Operations Center (413) 337-4461.
Heath uses the Reverse 911 emergency notification system (Code-RED) to provide residents with information critical to an emergency. See the Emergency Notification System section above for details.
If you are unable to access a phone or the internet in a state of emergency, keep in mind that the EOC will be open and is a resource to get help.
Emergency Management Team
The Emergency Management Team, activated during an emergency (weather wise, man made or pandemic), is made up of:
- Emergency Management Director
- Assistant EMD
- Department heads/members of the select board, board of health, highway superintendent, police chief and fire chief, town nurse and a rep from Mohawk estates. The team meets prior to an expected emergency to discuss the plan of action.
